Briana Williams wins 100 m world title at 2018 IAAF World U20 Championships

The potential of Briana Williams truly knows no bounds. The 16-year-old’s remarkable ascendancy continued on Thursday as she won gold in the women’s 100 m at the 2018 IAAF World U20 Championships in Athletics in Tampere, Finland.

Williams (11.16 secs) outlasted the favourite coming into the meet, USA’s Twanisha Terry (11.19 secs) to win the race while Kristal Awuah of Great Britain placed third (11.37 secs). Check out the race!
