Bob Marley movie soundtrack beats Shenseea, Kartel to Grammy win

Bob Marley once again stomps his authority on the Grammy stage. The King of Reggae’s One Love movie soundtrack takes home the Best Reggae Album Grammy over heavy hitters, Shenseea and Vybz Kartel.

The One Love biopic, which chronicled Marley’s life and career, took home the Reggae Grammy over Shenseea’s Never Gets Late Here and Kartel’s Party With Me EP. The category also featured Collie Buddz’s Take It Easy and The Wailers’ Evolution.

The One Love soundtrack features an ‘Exodus’ rendition by Bob’s grandson Skip Marley, plus covers of other iconic Marley songs by Shenseea, WizKid, Jessie Reyez and Daniel Caesar.
