The Best Reggae Album category at the 2024 Grammy Awards will see three legendary ‘Bs’ contesting the honour as Buju Banton (Born For Greatness), Beenie Man (Simma the Album) and Burning Spear (No Destroyer) are all in contention.
The reggae and dancehall stalwarts will go up against Bermudan singer Collie Buddz (Cali Roots Riddim 2023) and Julian Marley w/ Antaeus (Colors of Royal) at the 66th Grammys.

Buju, Beenie and Burning Spear are all previous Reggae Grammy winners, with Buju winning for Before the Dawn in 2011, Beenie for Art and Life in 2001 and Burning Spear twice for Calling Rastafari and Jah Is Real in 2000 and 2009 respectively. Julian has secured two prior nominations for Awake in 2010 and As I Am in 2020 while Collie is celebrating his first nod. Kabaka Pyramid is the current holder of the award for The Kalling.
The Best Reggae Album winner will receive the award at the 66th Grammy Awards, which takes place on Feb. 4, 2024 in Los Angeles 🎶💯
