Reggae Boyz striker, Darren Mattocks, is facing serious legal troubles in Pennsylvania as he has been charged with two felonies in the U.S. state.
Mattocks, who plays for FC Cincinnati in Major League Soccer (MLS), is accused of insurance fraud and theft by deception. A formal arraignment is set for February 27. An initial complaint against Mattocks was made last December.
Neither he, his club, nor the MLS have commented on the matter.
The 29-year-old Portmore native has played in the MLS since 2012 while scoring 18 goals ⚽ in 49 caps for Jamaica.
As of Sunday, he remained on the FC Cincinatti roster.
