Jada Kingdom song picked up by Universal Music

Jada Kingdom‘s music career continues to take significant strides in 2018 as she has inked a deal with Universal Music and Aftercluv Records, who will exclusively release the third single off her debut compilation, Wull On.

Jada announced on Friday via her Instagram page that the deal was complete, with the song and accompanying video for her single – the same title as her EP – set to be released on March 30.

In her post, she wrote, “I’m so blessed that my 3rd ever single/video has already attracted the attention of and been picked up by a major label so please be patient and I promise it will be worth the wait.” 

The deal was struck after a meeting between Jada’s manager, Julian Jones-Griffiths, and the label, where Griffiths played the song and won them over.

Diamond-selling dancehall star, Charly Black, is also signed to the Universal/Aftercluv imprint.

The video for Wull On was shot in Cuba and the single was produced by Christopher Birch.
