Etana makes history after topping Billboard chart

Reggae star Etana has made history as she topped the Billboard Reggae Albums chart with her latest release, Reggae Forever.

Reggae Forever, the singer’s fifth studio album, was released on International Women’s Day (March 8) and reached the top of Billboard’s chart last week. With this accomplishment, Etana has become the first Jamaican female act to top the chart with back-to-back albums.

This follows up her last effort, I Rise in 2014, which earned her similar credence.

Her new compilation was released independently, featuring singles such as My Man, Soldier, Spread Love and Free Pt. 2.  She was also the executive producer of the project

She recently took time for her tour alongside J-Boog to promote the album, performing an acoustic set at the Apple Music Store in Brooklyn.
