Prominent broadcaster, Francois St Juste, a long-time radio host who transcended FAME FM and RJR 94FM, has passed away. He was 60 years old.
St Juste died from a short-term illness, ailing for two weeks and receiving treatment at the University of the West Indies (UWI) Hospital in Kingston.
Known for his signature ‘Good mooooorning, Jamaica!’ welcome every time he hit the airwaves, St. Juste had been working as the host of the weekday morning show, Sunny Side Up, since 2017. He hosted the show alongside Paula-Ann Porter Jones, who he first auditioned at FAME FM when she was a teenager.

At FAME, St Juste rose to prominence in media, rising up the ranks after being hired there in 1984. By the late 90s, he became the executive producer and transformed FAME FM into the party capital of Jamaican radio.
The Wolmers’ old boy was regarded as one of Jamaica’s greatest voices. And, he was a mentor to many in the industry, including ZJ Sparks of ZIP FM and others.
