Beloved actor, Volier Johnson, dies suddenly

The world of theatre has been plunged into sadness and shock after the sudden passing of award-winning actor, Volier Johnson, on Friday night. The legendary actor reportedly died from a heart attack.

One of Jamaica’s biggest actors, Johnson was a part of the theatre and entertainment industries for more than five decades. His standout roles include The Harder They Come, Lime Tree Lane, Toy Boy, Oliver at Large and Better Mus’ Come, among several others.
