Unimaginable tragedy strikes dancehall veteran, Aidonia, and his wife, Kimberly Megan, as their nine-year-old son, King Khalif Lawrence, died on Saturday.

The U Kno Di Vibe and Yeah Yeah singer and his entrepreneur spouse have not commented publicly about the tragedy. However, multiple reports and social media posts from industry players have confirmed the sad news. Reportedly, Lawrence was battling brain cancer for some time.

The news rocked the dancehall world Saturday night, with fellow artistes like Shenseea and others offering condolences to the famed couple during their darkest hour.

Aidonia, known for singles such as Yeah Yeah and U Kno Di Vibe has been largely quiet on the music scene this year, likely due to tending to his son’s health. Our hearts go out to the couple at this awful time.
