Christopher Taylor wins men’s 200 m at Jamaica International Invitational

Look out world, our next phenom is on the loose! 18-year-old Christopher Taylor 🇯🇲 gave the masses another glimpse of his immense potential by topping a solid field in the men’s 200 m final at the 2018 Jamaica International Invitational inside the National Stadium in Kingston on Saturday.

The Calabar High School star and world youth champion (400 m) won the race in 20.49 seconds, outlasting three-time Olympic champion, the USA’s 🇺🇸 LaShawn Merritt (20.60 s) and 2015 200 m world championship bronze medallist, Anaso Jobodwana 🇿🇦 (20.70 s). Impressive.
