We haven’t heard much from or seen much of 2012 Olympic relay gold and world championship bronze medallist, Nesta Carter, in recent times. But the maligned sprinter showed he still has some pep left in his step by winning Monday’s final of the men’s 100 m at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia.
Carter (10.07 secs) outlasted St Kitts and Nevis’ Jason Rogers (10.15 secs) and Antigua’s Cejhae Green (10.16 secs) to take the gold. This after posting an impressive run of 9.92 secs in the semi-finals.
