Dancehall legend, Merciless, found dead in hotel

Sad and shocking news in the Jamaican 🇯🇲 music world. Dancehall legend, Merciless, has passed away.

The artiste, whose real name was Leonard Bartley, was found face down and unresponsive in a hotel in Crossroads on Tuesday. The deejay was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. He was 51 years old.

Merciless was known for hits like Mr. Houdini and Amber Alert, among others. He was also renowned for his memorable clashes with Bounty Killer and Ninja Man, particularly at Sting 2000. Rest well legend.
