Only fitting that a team backed by Cedella Marley wins by a Bob Marley scoreline. One Love.
Thanks to an 8th-minute header by Khadija Shaw, the Reggae Girlz earned a historic 1-0 victory over Mexico in the first game of the final round of Women’s World Cup qualifying, the CONCACAF W Championship.
It’s the first time either national senior football team has ever won in Mexico. Next up in the tournament is a date with the two-time defending world champs, the USA, in Monterrey.
