The Reggae Girlz reach final round of Women’s World Cup qualifying

One step closer! The Jamaica Reggae Girlz are off to the final round of 2023 Women’s World Cup qualifying in CONCACAF after thumping the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 5-1 at Sabina Park on Tuesday.
Khadija Shaw made history on the night, bagging a national record 50th international goal. She also set up a pair of goals on the night as Tiffany Cameron, Jody Brown and Trudi Carter also scored.
The Girlz move on to the CONCACAF W Championship (July 4-18) in Mexico.
The top four in the tournament automatically advance to next year’s Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand while 5th and 6th each get playoff opportunities.
