Dancehall star, Shaneil Muir, collapsed in her home parish of Montego Bay on Saturday.
The Top Gyal collapsed while at the A&B Complex on Market Street. She was taken to GWest Medical and Surgery Centre where she was assessed and subsequently released. While released, she’s been ordered to take a week-long leave after medical personnel deemed she suffered stress-related symptoms and exhaustion.
Muir, known for hit songs like Naturally and Hype and Boasy, was scheduled to perform at a beach party in Ocho Rios on Saturday night before flying to Connecticut for a show on Sunday.
Her management team stated in a press release she’ll open up more about the situation to the public soon.
On Friday night, Muir addressed a situation on Instagram Live involving her former manager, Richie Flores. She alleged Flores stole a significant amount of money from her.
