Elaine Thompson takes home women’s 100 m title at Pan Am Games

Double Olympic gold medalist, Elaine Thompson, added another continental gold medal to her collection on Wednesday as she won the women’s 100 m final at the Pan Am Games in Lima.

She breezed to victory in 11.18 seconds, with Trinidad & Tobago’s Michelle Ahye (11.27 secs) and Vitoria Cristina Rosa of Brazil (11.30 secs) rounding out the podium.
