Leon Bailey and Leverkusen fall short in German Cup final

The first crack at major silverware 🏆 for Leon Bailey ended in disappointment on Saturday as his Bayer Leverkusen side were soundly beaten in the German Cup final, 4-2, by eight-time reigning Bundesliga 🇩🇪 champions, Bayern Munich, in Berlin.

The domestic campaign is over, but the season continues in August for Bailey and co. in the Europa League, where they’re closing in on a quarterfinal berth in their bid to return to the Champions League.
