Luton Shelton passes away after ALS battle

Very sad news in the sports world as Luton Shelton, the Reggae Boyz 🇯🇲⚽️ all-time leading scorer, has passed away. He was just 35 years old.

Shelton had been battling ALS aka Lou Gehrig’s Disease for the last 3+ years. The former Sheffield United player scored 35 goals for our national team while also playing club football in Norway, Russia and other stops during his playing career.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbette, and three children.

Rest well chief 🙏😇
