As if Elaine Thompson Herah didn’t destroy enough records in Tokyo, she did one better at the Prefontaine Classic in Oregon on Saturday. The five-time Olympic gold medallist clocked in the second-fastest women’s 100 m run ever, winning with a shocking time of 10.54 secs. Respect greatness!
And, just like in Tokyo, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (10.73 secs) and Shericka Jackson (10.76 secs) copped another clean sweep for Team Jamaica 🇯🇲.
Briana Williams 🇯🇲 (11.08 secs) finished 8th while highly-touted American 🇺🇸, Sha’Carri Richardson, finished last.
Here’s the race in its entirety!
