Havana Solaun scores Reggae Girlz first World Cup goal

The Reggae Girlz ended their maiden trip to the FIFA Women’s World Cup pointless, but it was FAR from a pointless trip!

The Girlz played easily their best football of the competition, especially in the second half, in their final group game at France 2019 against Australia, but ultimately lost 4-1, with Sam Kerr scoring all four Australia goals.

However, second-half substitute, Havana Solaun, ensured we didn’t leave France empty-handed, slotting home from Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw‘s through ball to score the Reggae Girlz first ever World Cup goal to cut the lead to 2-1. Well done Havana!
