Mommy Rocket soars to gold at IAAF World Championships

🎶 My girl, pickney nah hol’ yuh down 🎶 That lyric from the King of the Dancehall is fitting for the Queen 👑 of the Track aka the Mommy Rocket on a day like this!

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce gave birth just over two years ago in August 2017. Today, #MommyRocket reclaimed her place at the top female sprinter around, winning the women’s 100 m title (10.71 secs) at the 2019 IAAF World Championships on Sunday. Double Olympic gold 🥇 medallist, Elaine Thompson, finished fourth (10.93 secs) while Jonielle Smith finished sixth (11.06 secs).

Just G.O.A.T things from a phenomenal athlete, who now has four women 100 m world titles. Well done Shelly!
