A strong half-season for Shamar Nicholson at Spartak Moscow ends with the Reggae Boyz striker lifting the Russian Cup. on Sunday. They defeated Dinamo Moscow 2-1 in the final.
It’s Spartak’s first major trophy since winning the Russian Premier League in 2016/17. And, it’s their first Russian Cup in 19 years.
Nicholson finished with eight goals with Spartak this season after moving in January from Belgium. The Reggae Boyz star nabbed 15 goals for Belgian club, Charleroi, in the first half of the season.
