Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Rasheed Broadbell hold their awards at the 2022 RJR/Gleaner Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year Award

A G.O.A.T 🐐 and a promising young buck are your 2022 RJR/Gleaner Sportswoman and Sportsman of the Year as Team Jamaica’s 🇯🇲 Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Rasheed Broadbell take home the respective honours.

Fraser-Pryce, who hailed fellow record breaker, Shericka Jackson, during her speech, came off a historic season in which she ran under 10.7 seconds 6 times and became the women’s 100m world champ once more. Meanwhile, Broadbell won his award after a breakout 2022 season when he won the men’s 110m hurdles at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
