Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Tajay Gayle take top RJR Sports Awards

It was a tale of the established and emerging taking home top silverware 🏆 at the 2020 RJR Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year Awards on Friday. World champion 🥇 long jumper, Tajay Gayle, took the Sportsman of the Year honour following his national record (and top 10 all-time) jump in Doha last September. The 23-year-old alumnus of Papine High School also scored a Pan Am Games medal 🥈 in 2019.

Meanwhile, the iconic Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce easily walked away with the Sportswoman of the Year title. The now nine-time world champion sprinter 🥇 aims to nab more gold this summer at the Tokyo Olympics!
