Shericka Jackson is the Jill of All Trades for a reason because she’s so capable at any distance.
On Thursday night, the Olympic gold medallist and world champion sprinter proved that again. Jackson won the women’s 200 m in a meet-record time of 21.91 seconds at the 2022 Golden Gala Diamond League event in Rome.
She outdueled the Fastest Woman Alive and two-time reigning Olympic 200 m champion, Elaine Thompson-Herah, who finished second. Meanwhile, British sprint star, Dina Asher-Smith, finished third.
The race also featured Olympic champions, Shaunae Miller-Uibo and Allyson Felix.
