Danniel Thomas-Dodd wins historic shot put silver

Our ladies ain’t just running and hurdling to medals🏅 any more, they’re throwing for ’em too 😎 Major congratulations to Danniel Thomas-Dodd who scored a historic silver 🥈 medal in the women’s shot put at the 2019 IAAF World Championships on Thursday.

Thomas-Dodd, a Commonwealth Games and Pan Am Games champion, is the first Jamaican woman to win a medal in the event and the third Jamaican to win a medal 🏅in a field event in these worlds. Dweet!
