Jamaica qualifies for first ever Women’s World Cup

Symmetry at it’s finest! 20 years ago, the Reggae Boyz made their World Cup debut in France. Thanks to this penalty in a playoff at the CONCACAF Women’s Championship against Panama on a rainy day in Texas (ended 2-2 after ET), the Reggae Girlz ensured they will do the same. Jamaica has become the first Caribbean team to make a Women’s World Cup and will participate in the tournament next June in France. Well done ladies!!
