Sydney Schneider saves penalty for Reggae Girlz in Women’s World Cup debut

We lost the battle, but surely looked up for the war ahead! An upset wasn’t to be on Sunday for the Reggae Girlz on their FIFA Women’s World Cup debut, losing 3-0 to Brazil thanks to a Cristiane hattrick. However, the Girlz had chances and saw quite a few impressive individual showings from the Girlz, none better than our 19-year-old goalkeeper, Sydney Schneider.

Schneider was outstanding throughout the game and save this penalty late in the first half while down 1-0. Well done Syd!
