Leon Bailey continues to grow his reputation as a man for the big occasion as his goal helped Aston Villa defeat Manchester United 3-1 in the Premier League on Sunday.
Bailey’s 7th-minute strike was the first for Villa under their new manager and four-time Europa League winner, Unai Emery. A free kick goal in the 11th minute from Lucas Digne and a 49th-minute goal from Jacob Ramsey sealed the points for Villa.

The Reggae Boyz forward now has three league goals on the season and four in all competitions. He scored earlier this season against United’s arch-rivals and defending champions, Manchester City, in a 1-1 draw at Villa Park.
All of Bailey’s four Premier League goals for Villa since joining in the summer of 2021 have been a Villa Park.
After the match, Bailey was in a jubilant mood and danced the night away at a dinner date with his girlfriend, Stephanie Hope.
